Dowsing Tips

Posted on August 6, 2013 at 12:25 PM Comments comments (0)

When my grandfather needed to dig a water well, he used an ancient and reliable technique to locate just the right spot to dig.  The water he found was clean, clear and tasted absolutely wonderful to me.

He is long gone, so I can't ask him about his search parameters, but I know that he used dowsing to locate the spot and where to dig.  Most dowsers now have specific parameters buil into their search question so they find exactly the information they want.

If you are new to dowsing, I will write another blog post telling you about it, the kinds of instruments you can use, and the basics of how to dowse.

If you already know what dowsing is, and maybe you have done a little yourself, then you might be interested in some tips to help you improve your accuracy.    These are things other dowsers recommend, or that I discovered through my own sessions.

  • Treat your dowsing tool like a good friend who only wants to help you get what you want
  • Program your dowsing instrument so that "it" is clear about how to search, what to ignore, and how to answer
  • Make sure you are hydrated when you do your session - drink some plain water
  • Put down your dowsing tool between target sessions and take a few cleansing breaths to separate the sessions
  • Make sure your questions are not only specific, but will give you the answer to the question you thought you asked
  • Practice, practice, practice!
  • Be in a positive frame of mind when you dowse -the higher your vibration, the better your results
  • Detach yourself from the question, and the answer
  • Do a little dowsing warm-up before you begin to calibrate your tool
  • Ask your questions out loud, as though to a partner or friend
  • Ask May I/Can I/Should I before you begin, and oly begin when you have a affirmative response
  • Don't stop your pendulum from swinging between questions, keep the energy flowing
  • Make sure your intention is only for the well-being of yourself and others
  • If you are a beginner, make sure you practice in a quiet place where you won't be interrupted
  • Have fun!

Dowsing is a wonderful way to get information, to find things, or to help you make decisions.   Use these tips to help you get better results.  And until next time...

Hypnosis Works!

Posted on October 6, 2012 at 10:00 AM Comments comments (1)

Wouldn't you love to have a way to help you get into a state of easy productivity?  You know, when you are in the zone.  Everything just flows along easily, your work gets done effortlessly, and it seems that you still have plenty of time and energy left over to do more.

Well, this week was my week!  Everything I did seemed to flow like a leaf being carried along by an easy flowing stream.   Can I just say, Wow!

Hypnosis was a major part of that ease and flow.  So I am in the process of creating websites for writers and low-carb eaters to help them.  I'll let you know more as I go.

Till next time, live happily psychic!

Psychically Hunting for Lost Treasure? Will You Find It?

Posted on September 3, 2012 at 11:15 AM Comments comments (0)

When looking for lost treasure, do you know how to look?

You might think you are looking for what you want, but you may actually be looking for something else.

Tonight I saw an old White Collar TV episode about finding lost treasure. At the beginning our heros were looking for a missing Nazi submarine. They didn't know why the sub was important to the villain until near the end of the show, where they discovered billions of dollars of jewels, art and other valuables the Nazis were pirating away from Germany.

In the show there was a huge explosion. It appeared the treasure was blown to smithereens, but someone unknown had stolen it before it was destroyed. The viewer saw the treasure in a warehouse storage room, safe and beautiful.

Now if you were a psychic, what would you search for? The sub? What was valuable about the sub? And then when you knew there was treasure, what would you look for then? The whole of the treasure? A single painting by Rembrandt?

Let's say you used your psychic ability to discern the sub's value. Well, some people would claim the value was in its history, others would have felt it was in the technology of the time. Still others would say it was in the booty that was stolen from the Jews. If you went searching for a valuable WWII submarine, then you need to make sure you knew what value it held for your search.

And what about the art and jewels? Are you going to look for them? If you knew they were on the sub, and your guidance said the sub was in a specific area, you would have been correct. Yet the treasure was moved secretly and you would still be left empty-handed if your ultimate goal was to retrieve and sell those diamonds and rubies.

So what does that mean about your psychic ability?

What this means is that you must be clear about your target. If you want to be successful, then you must decide what you want. If you only want to know that you were correct, then you would ask for the most easily verifiable information. If you want the riches from the find, then you need to ask for something else when you set your target parameters.

Most people receive psychic impressions. Many are correct. The goal is to find useful information that will benefit both you and those concerned. That is what separates the experts from the masses!

Until next time, live happily psychic!

Does Being Psychic Make You Eat Yogurt?

Posted on June 28, 2012 at 12:40 PM Comments comments (0)

I know, I know, that sounds like a silly question.  But it really isn't.

You see, when you are empathic, or mediumistic, or downright pychic in any way, you pick up signals from anywhere and everywhere.  Walking down the street you might hear a snatch of someone's thought.  Standing in line at the grocery store you make pick up the mental confusion of the elderly person who was there before you.  Playing in the park with a passle of children and puppies you may feel their delight bubble up inside.

And sometimes you get urges to do things that you aren't quite sure are coming from within you.  Like eating yogurt.

Now I do like yogurt, especially Greek yogurt.  And I have eaten a lot of it lately.  I even find myself getting a bit anxious when I don't have any available.  Now that's just plain weird for me.

Which is why I want to know the answer to the question.

Does Being Psychic

Make ME Eat Yogurt?

Do I have the urge to eat yogurt because that is what my body is wanting?  Or is it because I have been watching Burn Notice a lot and I am picking up the character's yogurt addiction due to my empathic gifts?

The answer is unclear.  Maybe it's a bit of both.  So how do we know when we are acting from our connection to someone or something outside of ourselves?

I'll have to get back to you on that one.

What I DO know for sure, is that we are responsible for our own actions and attitudes.  It doesn't matter what you pick up from someone else.  It's your brain, your body, your life.  Maybe I am picking up the character's (really the writer's) desires or emotions. But doesn't there have to be something already active in my own vibration to feel it so strongly?

Yes.

So here is my soapbox spiel.

No matter where or with whom you are, always, always, always question whether the feelings and thoughts you are thinking are coming from within you or from without.  I don't care if you are listening to political debates, or to your familyand friends, or even if you are in church.  ALWAYS do your own thinking!!!!  If it doesn't feel good to you, then change it in yourself.

These psychic gifts are wonderful, natural and to be happily used.  But, God gave us fabulous brains to use, too.  Curiosity, learning and thinking for yourself are right up there at the top of the gift list.  Use that fabulous brain for good!

As for me, I believe I'll keep eating the yogurt.  I like it!

Until next time, live happily psychic!

What's an OOBE Dream? And How Do You Know If You Have One?

Posted on May 10, 2012 at 8:45 PM Comments comments (0)

What's an OOBE? Or an OBE?  It's an out of body experience.  Astral travel is another term.

Last night I dreamed of John Cena.  That was a new experience for me, as I know of him, but I don't follow wrestling so I have no attachment to him.  I just admire him for his charity work.  From the little I know of him he seems like a very nice man.

So what does this have to do with OOBE?  It's this.  My dream was definitely a dream, because I know the events were symbolic.  But the feeling and appearance of the dream were very much like an OOBE.

I know that my OOBE dreams are distinct from regular dreams.  I recall my dreams in vivid detail, so they are easy to analyze.  My distinctions may be different from yours, so don't think that what I have to report is what you should experience.  It likely won't be the same.

My regular dreams are very vivid and bright.  The OOBE ones are more dull and shadowy, maybe a little hazy.

My regular dreams are like I am watching a movie of myself.  My OOBE dreams are in-body experiences.

Wait - did I just say that?  How can my out of body dreams be IN body?  I don't know.  I just know that in my OOBE dreams I am looking through my own eyes, and in my regular dreams I am looking at myself.

And there is something about reading and counting that is different.  I think that if I write something in an OOBE dream and it gets erased I can write it again.  But in my regular dreams the writing seems to change or not make sense.

It's the same way with counting money or reading a page.

Oh!  And the OOBE dreams feel more personal to me, more intimate somehow.

So what about you?  Can you tell the difference between a regular dream and an OOBE dream?  I'd love to hear about your own experiences.  Leave a comment on Facebook or send me an email.  It's fascinating stuff!

All this talk of dreams is making me sleepy.  So it's off to bed I go.  Sweet dreams, everybody!  And until next time, live happily psychic!

What happened to my blogpost?? Did it go out of body?

Posted on May 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM Comments comments (0)

The weirdest thing just happened. In the middle of posting my latest article - it just happened to be on out of body experiences - the writing disappeared!! Where did it go?

Personally, I wonder if it is having its own out of body experience.

When it comes back I will post it again for you.

Till then, live happily psychic!

The Nose Knows...Where That Trooper Is!

Posted on May 7, 2012 at 5:35 PM Comments comments (0)

Yes, it's true. My nose tells me when to slow down if I am going to fast on the road. It all began when I went to see a psychic.

Ginni is a wonderful person, and some of her predictions are astonishingly accurate. But

on one ocassion she advised me to drive more slowly going home.

And then she told me something that has stayed with me for years. She told me that my nose

would let me know when state troopers were out. I must have looked confused, because she

told me that my nose would itch whenever they were around and I needed to slow down.

I thought this strange, but, doggone it she was right!

I knew a bit about programming yourself to give sensory cues in certain situations. So I

continued to use that nose itch a long time, and to reinforce it whenever possible. I now

use it to alert me when I need to pay attention, and not just when driving.

Of course, it doesn't work so well when I have a cold, like today, but other times? It's a

very useful tool.

Do you have something like this working for you? If you don't and would like to know how

to program your own signal, then please write me. I would be happy to write another

article with the how to's.

So until next time, live happily psychic!

The Monroe Institute and Explorations of the Mind Kind

Posted on April 18, 2012 at 8:15 AM Comments comments (0)

Have you ever had a dream or meditation experience where you felt like you were no longer in your own body, but traveling "somewhere else" instead?  Maybe you were exploring the pyramids at Giza, or whooshing through space.

That's called astral travel, or an out of body experience.  Most people think of them as OBE's.

Anyone who is familiar with the term has probably heard of Robert Monroe.  He founded The Monroe Institute (TMI) after researching the effects of sound on human consciousness.  He wrote several books about his experiences.

TMI has an extensive library of audios, videos, books and other products to help you with your journeys of mind.  PLUS they have classes on site.

I knew someone who went numerous times.  She had a rare illness, and said she felt relief from her pain when she would go.  She passed away last year, but she loved to tell me what she learned from TMI.

When I went to the site this morning I found that  many of their recordings are available as free downloads.  Check it out!  Here is the link.

I know you will find lots of interesting things there.  Until next time, live happily psychic!

"Use the Force, Luke"

Posted on April 18, 2012 at 8:10 AM Comments comments (0)

I love the original Star Wars movies.  Watching Luke develop his psychic talents was fun and enlightening.  Yoda felt like everyone's teacher, not just Luke's.

Watching Luke hit and miss, then get up and do it all again was inspiring.  And funny at times.  I always laugh when I see him get zapped in the behind with the practice droid.

Hopefully we don't have the strong negative motivators that Luke had.  None of us really wants a Darth Vader for a dad.  But there's no doubt that danger and pain will strongly encourage a person to develop the skills needed to avoid them.

So what do you do?  Find the joy in using your psychic talents!  If you want to be able to do something, you find the reasons to do it.  If you find using your psychic gifts bring you enjoyment, then you will be more likely to practice.  And practice builds strength, so you will have the skills when you need them.

So what have you done today?  Find something fun to do, and then enjoy the heck out of it!

Until next time, live happily psychic!
